NEET 2020: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the National Testing Agency, NTA has changed the test centers for some of the candidates that will be presented for the National Cum Entrance Eligibility Test (NEET-UG 2020) to be held on 13 September. Candidates, whose examination centers have been changed: they were informed via SMS, email and telephone.
“There are no changes in the central cities of the candidates; only the centers have been changed. These candidates are encouraged to download their latest admission card available on the NEET website.ntaneet.nic.in”Mentions the NTA notification.
Candidates are also advised to familiarize themselves with the location of the new assigned test center now, so that they will not have any difficulty getting to the newly assigned center, please read the notice from the NTA.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare published revised safety guidelines for testing on Thursday, according to which tests are now not allowed to take place in containment zones. “Only exam centers outside of the containment zone will be allowed to operate. Personnel / examinees will not be allowed from containment areas. Said examinees will have the opportunity to take the exam through other means or universities / educational institutions / agencies may consider appropriate measures in this regard, ”the MoHFW Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) mentioned.
Almost 16 lakh students applied to appear for NEET. The number of test centers, NTA says, has also nearly doubled to ensure student safety.
