Y-plus security coverage to actress Kangana Ranaut was provided based on a request from her father to the state government in her native Himachal Pradesh, which in turn referred her to the Center, said the Union Minister of State for the G Kishan Reddy Home on Friday.
According to her father, the actress was responding to social problems causing “heartburn” for some people in Maharashtra, the minister told reporters.
