Mumbai: In the latest development in the drug-related case related to the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Times now he learned that actresses Sara Ali Khan, Rakulpreet Singh and designer Simone Khambatta are under the scanner of the Bureau of Narcotics Control (NCB).

Sources have said that there are many more people associated with Bollywood who are under the federal drug agency’s scan.

Sources have claimed that Rhea Chakraborty during her questioning specifically named the above-mentioned individuals who used narcotic substances, reports Priyank of Times Now. They have also said that Rhea initially refused to do drugs, but later confessed to using drugs.

He has also named several other people in the Hindi film industry who deal with drugs. Sources have told the channel that NCB has a list of 25 A-Listers in Bollywood that are under NCB’s scan.

Priyank further reported that central investigative agencies are targeting funding in Bollywood by the D-Company, which is run by gangster Dawood Ibrahim. The NCB is also targeting a filmmaker who has been critical of the government and the agency obtained the information that he was reportedly obtaining funding from the D-Company.

Another aspect that the investigative agency is looking at is the people who groom newcomers to the film industry and allegedly make them addicted to banned substances.

Court denies bail to Rhea Chakraborty, Showik

A court here today rejected bail requests from actress Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik. After three days of questioning, on September 8 the NCB arrested Rhea. She was sent to judicial custody until September 22 and is being held in the Byculla prison.

“Rhea Chakraborty and Showik Chakraborty financed and organized drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput and according to their instructions,” the NCB had said in its affidavit in response to bail requests.

The NCB began the drug investigation after the Directorate of Enforcement (ED), which is investigating money laundering charges linked to the sensational death case, recovered social media conversations from Rhea’s mobile phone, which they hinted at the use of prohibited drugs.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his residence in the Bandra suburbs on June 14.
