JEE main output declared in Jeemain.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency, or NTA, will release the main JEE 2020 result for the September exams today. Candidates can check the JEE Main output on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Results are expected for around 8.58 lakh of students who took the JEE main exam at 660 centers across the country. The main result of JEE 2020 is a gateway to admission to various engineering colleges in the country. For admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology, the top 2.5 lakh candidates in JEE Main 2020 will have to write another exam, the JEE Advanced 2020.

Follow these steps to download your main JEE result for the September exam:
Step 1: Click the link provided above or visit the official JEE Main website (jeemain.nic.in) and click the “View Result / Scorecard” link provided there
Step 2: On the next page, enter your application number and date of birth.
Step 3: enter the security PIN number provided there
Step 4: click sign in
Step 5: Check your JEE Main scores on the next page
JEE 2020 Core Output: Answer Key
Prior to the announcement of the JEE Main results, the Agency had released the JEE Main response keys on September 8.
However, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, according to data shared by Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, of the 8.58 lakh candidates registered for JEE Main 2020 in September, 6.35 lakh finally showed up for the exam. This implies that more than 2.2 lakh of students, or more than 25%, did not write the JEE core exams. Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal had said on Twitter: “Of the 8.58 lakh applicants for #JEEMains, 6.35 lakh turned up for the exam.”
The Minister of Education added: “The central governments and those of the respective states assured all possible assistance to students, for which I also congratulate all state governments. All this effort showed the spirit of cooperative federalism.”
