Actress Kangana Ranaut in a tweet said that, as a symbolic gesture, she will not renovate the parts of her office that were demolished on Wednesday by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. The BMC carried out the demolition based on alleged structural violations.

My house has been demolished today but your pride will crumble tomorrow. Time will change. I think you’ve done me a great favor. I knew what the Kashmiri pundits must have been through, but today I have experienced it. I promise that I will make a movie, not only about Ayodhya, but also about Kashmir. I will wake up my compatriots. It has happened to me, which has a certain meaning and significance. Uddhav Thackeray, it is fortunate that I was the one who was subjected to this cruelty and terror.
