Indian Railways recently announced that 80 more special trains will begin operating on September 12. Reservations for those trains have opened today and passengers can book a train ticket through the official IRCTC website. Along with this, tickets can be booked at the reservation desk provided by the railways at the stations. Travelers can also book tickets for the train through the IRCTC app.
It should be noted that these 80 trains are running in addition to the 30 Rajdhani-type special trains and the 200 Special Mail Express trains that are already in operation. With this, the number of special trains operated by Indian Railway has increased to 310.
Indian Railways will run 40 additional pairs of more special trains starting September 12, 2020.

Due to the threat of Covid-19, Indian Railways has established the following rules:
-The railroads have made the use of masks mandatory in the station facilities and even during the trip.
-A passenger will be able to enter the station only after obtaining a confirmed ticket
-All passengers must arrive at the station at least 90 minutes in advance to undergo a thermal test at the station.
-Only those people who do not have any symptoms of coronavirus will be able to travel in a special train.
-Apart from this, social distancing must be maintained at all times
-According to the railways, no passenger without a ticket can enter the station on these 310 trains.
-It is mandatory that passengers download the Aarogya Setu application on their mobile phones, before starting their trip.
-Railways will not provide sheets, blankets to passengers
