Kangana Ranaut arrived at her Pali Hill bungalow on Thursday evening to take note of the demolition carried out by BMC agents as she made her way to Mumbai from Manali.
Kanagana visited the site and was clicked in the middle of the debris left over from the demolition on Wednesday. She was photographed with her sister Rangoli Chandel, who arrived at the scene sometime earlier in the day.
Photos of Kangana in her office went viral. However, there was one thing that stood out: she was not wearing a mask. As those around her donned masks, Kangana decided to go out without covering her face on a day when the country recorded more than 95,000 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.
The pandemic is not over, masks are still mandatory in the country because that is probably one of the only things that can prevent you from getting the infection. Do we still need a reminder that there is NO vaccine for the virus yet?
This did not go unnoticed by several netizens who were quick to point it out; Many people urged her to put on a mask, while some even asked her if she should not have been quarantined at her home since she had arrived in Mumbai a day before her visit.
For those asking about the quarantine, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had exempted Kangana from the 14-day home quarantine rule for those arriving from out of state.

Shortly after BMC began demolition Wednesday at the Kangana office, the Bombay High Court suspended the operation. The court also asked BMC to file a response to its petition in the matter. Kangana, through his lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui, had mobilized the High Court against the demolition of what the BMC had described as “illegal alterations” in his office.

In a recent event, there has also been a police report against Kangana for defaming CM Uddhav Thackeray of Maharashtra. A lawyer for the Bombay High Court filed the complaint based on an FB post issued by Kangana, in which he linked the Shiv Sena state government to the “movie mafia”.
