JEE Main 2020: Minister of Education thanks students and parents for “regaining confidence”, says results soon

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ thanked students and parents on Wednesday for participating in JEE Main 2020, which took place from September 1-6. Pokhriyal further said that the process for the JEE Main 2020 results statement has started and will be announced soon.

“My sincere thanks to all the students and parents for placing their trust in the government and participating in the main JEE exam. The process for the declaration of results has started and the results will be announced soon, ”Pokhriyal said on social media.

NTA conducted JEE Main 2020 for over 8 lakh students following strict security protocols amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Mr. Pokhriyal thanked the National Testing Agency (NTA) and officials for safely conducting the engineering entrance exam.

“My sincere thanks to all State Governments and their officials, the @DG_NTA City Coordinators, Proctors, and the entire Test Official Community for their overwhelming support in making these tests a success,” added Mr. Pokhriyal.

The result of JEE Main 2020, according to the information available at jeeadv.ac.in, will be tentatively declared on September 11. After the statement of result, candidates who qualify and meet the required cutoff marks will be eligible to apply for admission to the IIITs. NIT and GFTI.

NTA has already posted the official JEE Main 2020 answer key at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can challenge the official answer key until September 10.

After the declaration of the main JEE result, the 2,50,000 top candidates will be able to apply for JEE Advanced 2020.
