Spilling some beans about the same thing, Samir told a news portal that he did not understand how, suddenly, from talking about innocent or guilty, people turned to talking about sexism. According to the actor, the people who did support this have done a great disservice to the feminism or gender equality movement by raising an issue as important as something totally foreign.
Developing further, he added that he did not understand what their motivation was behind bringing this up, and that someone should tell them that when you use a major cause for a problem that has nothing to do with, then you are trying to hijack that situation for something else.
Samir also added that he is happy with the way the case is progressing. According to him, Rea’s arrest is the first step towards justice and there is no other way to look at it. He also said that we gave the local authorities almost two months to find out, we should at least give CBI, NCB and ED at least a few months to investigate.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14.
