Amid the ongoing fight between Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut and ruling Shiv Sena, BMC is poised to demolish an illegal construction at the actor’s office in Mumbai.
Speaking to India Today, a senior BMC official said: “We had given him 24 hours to respond to the advisory, but he has not responded.” The officer said that there are several illegal and unauthorized constructions inside Kangana Ranaut’s office and therefore action will be taken.
This comes on a day when Kangana Ranaut is set to land in Mumbai after a threat from the Seine leader, Sanjay Raut, who warned him not to return to the city after he compared it to Pakistani-occupied Kashmir (PoK). .

The notice sent to Kangana Ranaut says:
1) Toilet illegally converted into an office booth on the ground floor.
2) Unauthorized kitchen built in storage room on the ground floor.
3) New toilets built illegally next to the stairs inside the store and another in the parking lot on the ground floor.
4) Unauthorized pantry built on the ground floor.
5) Unauthorized room / cabin with wooden partition made in the living room on the first floor.
6) Unauthorized meeting room / booth with wooden partition made in the pooja room on the first floor.
7) Unauthorized construction of toilets in open dining area with brick and slab masonry walls on first floor.
8) Unauthorized horizontal extension of the slab in front on the second floor.
9 Bedrooms of the adjoining bungalow no. 4 merges with bungalow no. 5 removing the dividing wall on the second floor.
10) The toilet in the adjoining bedroom (ie bungalow # 4) is removed and the same area is used as a living area on the second floor.
11) The position of the main entrance has been changed.
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut has said in a tweet: “Since I am ready for Mumbai Darshan on the way to the airport, Maha’s government and his thugs are on my property ready to break it illegally, go ahead! I promised to donate blood for the pride of Maharashtra, this is nothing, it takes everything, but my spirit will only rise higher and higher. “
The senior BMC official has said that they are completing the paperwork and documentation necessary for the demolition and that they will soon arrive at the Kangana Ranaut property to demolish the illegal structure.
The BMC team inspected the property and found many unauthorized constructions on the ground and first floors of the office. The office belongs to Manikarnika Productions owned by Kangana Ranaut.
It is likely that even before Kangana Ranaut lands in Mumbai, action will be taken against his office.
