New Delhi: Another major arrest has been made in the Sandalwood drug scandal. The Central Crime Branch (CCB) wing of the Bengaluru police raided the residence of famous Kannada actress Sanjana Galrani on Tuesday morning and was arrested.
After obtaining the search warrant from the Court, the CCB reportedly raided his home in connection with the drug conspiracy. CCB has detained her for questioning.
After Ragini Dwivedi, Sanjana is the second actress in the CCB network. According to sources, she was very close to Rahul (another defendant in the case). She gave CCB some information about Sanjana.
Now, the CCB has intensified its investigation and a search warrant has been issued to search Viren Khanna’s home. It was learned that along with other things, a fake uniform with a belt, cap, shoes and no stars was found at Khanna’s home.
Viren Khanna is the main person who organizes large parties where drugs are used. He was arrested in Delhi and taken into police custody for four days.
According to sources, the CCB has sent subpoenas to some of the most famous film personalities in Kannada, which has yet to be officially confirmed. Shortly after Indrajit Lankesh’s statement, the Bengaluru police sprang into action and the Bengaluru Central Crime Branch (CCB) interrogated him for about two hours. CCB officials stated that ‘Indrajit Lankesh mentioned some old incidents and revealed the names of some people related to the industry.
