Forgery, cheating: Rhea Chakraborty’s charges against Sushant Singh Rajput’s sisters and doctor

Mumbai police have detained two of Sushant Singh Rajput’s sisters and a Delhi-based doctor after Rhea Chakraborty, who is facing multiple charges in the late actor’s death case, filed a complaint against them.

Bandra Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Rajput sisters Priyanka Singh and Mitu Singh, and Dr. Tarun Kumar, Associate Professor of Cardiology at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, for instigation of suicide, cheating, forgery and criminal conspiracy. They have also transferred the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Here’s what Rhea Chakraborty said in her complaint:

* Rhea filed a six-page complaint against the three at Bandra Police Station for allegedly prescribing drugs for Rajputs that are prohibited by the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) of 1985 and the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines of 2020.

* The complaint was filed under section 464, 465, 466, 468, 474, 306, 120 (B), 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) read with section 8 (c), 21, 22 and 29 of the NDPS Act.

* She has stated in her complaint that she was living with the Rajput from December 2019 to June 8, 2020. In her complaint she had stated that during the course of their relationship she learned that the Rajput was receiving treatment for various mental health problems and had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder by several renowned doctors.

* “However, the deceased (Sushant Singh Rajput) was not disciplined regarding his treatment and often abruptly discontinued his medication to the dismay of his doctors and me,” he said in his complaint.

* “On the morning of June 8, 2020, the deceased had been on his phone incessantly and when I asked him what he was doing, he showed me the messages he was exchanging with his sister Priyanka Singh. I say that I was surprised to read these messages because her sister Priyanka had sent her a list of medications to take, “he added.

* Chakraborty said that he had explained to Rajput “that given the seriousness of his condition and the fact that he already had medications prescribed by doctors who had examined and treated him for several months, he should not take any other medications, let alone. all medications prescribed by his sister who does not have a medical degree. ”

* She said in her complaint that this led to a disagreement between them, and Rajput insisted that she would only take the medications her sister prescribed. “The deceased proceeded to ask me to leave the house as her other sister, Meetu Singh, was coming to live with her and would take care of her,” she said, adding that she left the house after that.

* Chakraborty stated that he was shocked to learn that Sushant Singh Rajput’s father registered an FIR at Rajiv Nagar Police Station in Patna on July 25, 2020. “It was absurd that such false accusations were made more than 40 days later of the disappearance of the deceased ”, he said in his complaint.

* He said that WhatsApp messages were exchanged between Rajput and Priyanka on June 8, 2020. “In such messages, Priyanka Singh has advised the deceased to take various medications controlled by the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Surprisingly, it has now come to light that her sister Priyanka later, the same day, sent her a prescription from Dr. Tarun Kumar, Associate Professor of Cardiology at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi, “he said.

* Chakraborty said that prima facie “said document appears forged and fabricated.

* He has also said that the recipe prepared by them is manufactured by which Rajput is shown as an OPD patient in Delhi hospital, while in Mumbai. “The deceased died just 5 days after obtaining the aforementioned prescription in which psychotropic substances were illegally prescribed at the request of Priyanka and Dr. Kumar,” the complaint reads.
