Mumbai:
Actor Kangana Ranaut, caught in the middle of a rapidly escalating political dispute over comments on the Sushant Singh Rajput case comparing Mumbai to Pakistani-occupied Kashmir, accused city officials of having “forcibly taken my office … (and) harass my neighbors. “
Ms. Ranaut also claimed that officials said her office, Manikarnika Films, a film production house in Khar (west) of Mumbai, would be demolished tomorrow. The actress responded in another tweet, noting that she had the required permits and “nothing illegal has been done on my property.”
“They have taken over my office by force … measuring everything, also harassing my neighbors when they responded … BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) officials used language like, ‘What Madame has done … everyone will have to endure the brunt, ‘”Ranaut said in a video posted to Twitter Monday afternoon.
“They inform me tomorrow that they are demolishing my property,” he said, adding a smiley face to his tweet.
“I have all the papers (and) permits from BMC … nothing illegal (has been done) on my property. BMC should send a structure plan to show the illegal construction with a notice,” stated Ms. Ranuat.
I have all the papers, BMC permits, nothing illegal has been done on my property, BMC should send a structure plan to show the illegal construction with a warning, today they raided my place and tomorrow without notice they demolished the entire structure? ??

In the video (the second of two shared online today), seven men, wearing face masks, are seen gathered around a large dining room table. Two of them are sitting and appear to be writing notes, while the others are standing.

The first was a 138-second behind-the-scenes look at the work that was used to decorate the interiors of Manikarnika Films, with excerpts from Ms. Ranaut’s interviews with fashion publication Elle Décor.
The “Queen” actor has drawn strong attacks from Maharashtra’s ruler Shiv Sena over comments about the Mumbai police’s handling of the Sushant Rajput case.
Ms Ranaut, currently in her native Himachal Pradesh, also said that with the current government led by the Seine, she was afraid of living in Mumbai.
The outspoken actor also lashed out at Seine leaders like Sanjay Raut, commenting: “Why does Mumbai feel like Pakistani-occupied Kashmir?”
The comment sparked a backlash from Shiv Sena and his ally, the NCP. State Interior Minister Anil Deshmukh of the PNC said she “should not return to Mumbai if she feels unsafe.”
This morning, sources from the Union Ministry of the Interior said that Ms. Ranaut, 33, would be protected by a team of armed officers, including commandos.
The decision follows a “renewed threat to the actress after she spoke out about drug use in a section of the film industry following the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput,” sources said.
