According to the NCB, during questioning, suspected drug trafficker Abdel Basit Parihar, who was also arrested, said that he acquired drugs from Vilatra and Ebrahim, following Showik’s instructions. NCB officials said Showik’s phone messages include one in which he asked Miranda to pay Vilatra Rs 10,000 for 5g of ‘bud,’ a cured form of marijuana.

Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) questioned Rajput’s sister, Meetu Singh.

Rajput was found dead at his Mumbai residence on June 14, and investigators launched an investigation into the possibility of suicide.
