The media’s behavior was criticized by Twitter users, including fraternity celebrities who called it “disgusting.”

Taapsee Pannu took to Twitter and regretted the treatment of Rhea Chakraborty in the case.

“In the name of justice, these people have lynched a human being of his right to live even before his guilt is proven. I sincerely pray that karma finds direction for each and every human being as part of this low level of humanity that we are witnessing, ”the actor wrote.

This was the “lowest” the country had lowered itself to, said Swara Bhasker.

“India … our lowest presence! Shameful witch hunt! Disgusting, ”he wrote.

“The law must and will continue its course. This reprehensible behavior in every way. Enough! Why can’t Rhea be given space and the right to physical distancing? Why is the media behaving like vultures? Please give it space. Stop attacking / dehumanizing her and her family, ”the actor wrote.

The NCB, for the past two days, arrested Rhea Chakraborty’s younger brother Showik Chakraborty (24), Rajput’s house manager Samuel Miranda (33), and Dipesh Sawant, a member of the actor’s personal staff, in this case.

“And yes, this is much worse than being insulted. Any name, ”he added.

Filmmaker Alankrita Shrivastava said it’s sad how the whole country focused on Rhea Chakraborty.

“No thoughts about the economy, the pandemic or anything else of importance. The Indians are only interested in burning Rea at the stake. That is what makes our people happy, fulfilled and validated. No amount of hate and poison is enough. We are sick. Very, very sick, ”she tweeted.

Various angles surrounding the death of 34-year-old Sushant Singh Rajput are being investigated by three federal agencies, including the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
