Several Bollywood personalities, including actors Taapsee Pannu, Swara Bhasker, and filmmaker Anubhav Sinha, criticized the media harassment of actress Rhea Chakraborty, flouting all standard protocols amid the COVID-19 pandemic, when it arrived. to the Office of Narcotics Control Office (NCB) on Sunday.
Rhea Chakraborty, who is accused of being an accessory to Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide by her family, appeared before the NCB for questioning in the drug case linked to the actor’s death.
According to viral images from various channels on social media, the 28-year-old actress was seen being booed and pushed by the media as she made her way to the NCB office, escorted by Mumbai police.
The media’s behavior was criticized by Twitter users, including fraternity celebrities who called it “disgusting.”
Taapsee Pannu took to Twitter and regretted the treatment of Rhea Chakraborty in the case.

This was the “lowest” the country had lowered itself to, said Swara Bhasker.
“India … our lowest presence! Shameful witch hunt! Disgusting, ”he wrote.
Dia Mirza said that the behavior of the media present on the ground was “reprehensible.”

The NCB, for the past two days, arrested Rhea Chakraborty’s younger brother Showik Chakraborty (24), Rajput’s house manager Samuel Miranda (33), and Dipesh Sawant, a member of the actor’s personal staff, in this case.

Filmmaker Alankrita Shrivastava said it’s sad how the whole country focused on Rhea Chakraborty.

Various angles surrounding the death of 34-year-old Sushant Singh Rajput are being investigated by three federal agencies, including the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The NCB launched an investigation into the angle of drugs in this case after the emergency department shared a report with the cloning of two Rhea Chakraborty cell phones.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his apartment in the suburban Bandra area on June 14.
