Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Meetu Singh Arrived at DRDO Guest House in Connection with CBI Investigation

Mumbai:

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Meetu Singh arrived at the DRDO guesthouse on Sunday afternoon in connection with the CBI investigation into the actor’s death case, a police officer said.

Earlier in the day, Rajput business manager Shruti Modi, his talent manager Jaya Saha and chef Neeraj also arrived at the guesthouse in the Kalina suburbs, where the investigation team is stationed, he said.

On Saturday, a team from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) visited Sushant Rajput’s flat in Bandra as part of the investigation into his death.

Rajput cooks Neeraj and Keshav, his roommate Siddharth Pithani and his sister Meetu Singh accompanied the team, the official said.

After inspecting the floor, investigators headed to the building’s terrace, he said.

In the last two weeks, the central investigative agency visited the apartment at least three times to reconstruct the sequence of events that led to the actor’s death.

Meanwhile, actress Rhea Chakraborty, accused of being an accessory to Rajput’s suicide, appeared before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Sunday for questioning in the drug case linked to the actor’s death.

His brother Showik Chakraborty, Sushant Rajput’s house manager Samuel Miranda, and personal staff member Dipesh Sawant have been arrested by the NCB.

Rhea Chakraborty and members of her family are accused of being complicit in the suicide of 34-year-old Sushant Rajput, who was found dead in her apartment in Bandra in Mumbai on June 14.
