In Sushant’s case, NCB will present Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda in court on Saturday

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is set to present Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda in court on Saturday. The NCB arrested Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik and Sushant Singh Rajput’s former house manager Samuel Miranda in connection with the ongoing “drug angle” investigation into Sushant’s death. The arrests were made after a marathon of interrogations since Friday morning and house searches. According to sources, the NCB team has collected crucial data evidence, including the phone and laptop, after the raids on Rhea’s residence.

The sources have cited an NCB official and told Republic TV that the agency will seek custody of Showik and Miranda. They added that both will be questioned in custody to unravel more details about the acquisition, transport and use of narcotics. Sources said the agency has a “strong case” and is investigating “the drug citadel in Mumbai, and especially Bollywood” in this case. Reiterating that Showik and Miranda’s homes were being searched as a “procedural” action, the sources said the agency has gathered additional evidence after the raids. They also said that Rhea may be subpoenaed soon, however NCB in their official statement after the arrest said there should be no speculation about it.
