Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Rhea Chakraborty’s brother, Showik, along with Samuel Miranda, a close aide and former manager of Sushant Singh Rajput, on Friday night for their alleged involvement in the drug supply business. drugs Showik and Samuel Miranda are reportedly scheduled to appear in court here on Saturday.
Earlier in the day, the NCB team carried out raids at several locations, including the homes of Showik and Samuel Miranda, leading them to question them in their office after conducting searches for two hours.
Samuel Miranda, a close associate of Sushant Singh Rajput, also confessed to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) that he used to buy drugs for the late Bollywood actor, sources said.
According to sources, Miranda made this admission during her questioning by NCB officials, several hours after they raided her home early this morning.
It has been discovered that Showik used to flavor drugs and also introduced Samuel Miranda to drug supplier Basit Parihar to purchase drugs.
At around 6.30am, NCB teams began the raids, which came a day after the Mumbai court sent alleged drug dealer Zaid Vilatra into NCB custody for seven days. The raids are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985.
Sushant was found dead in his Bandra apartment here on June 14. Since the scope of the investigation continues to grow every day since the Directorate of Enforcement, CBI and NCB joined, the drugs angle has yielded a number of clues.
