Two days after the government announced the Karmyogi Mission which will bring major changes in the way civil service officials will be trained and trained across the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with IPS parolees via video conference Friday during the ‘Dikshant Parade Event’ at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad.

Prime Minister Modi, praising the police for their work during the Covid-19 pandemic, said: “The human face of the khaki uniform has been engraved in public memory due to the good work done by the police, especially during this pandemic of COVID-19. It is very important that you take pride in your uniform rather than flex the power of your uniform. Never lose respect for your khaki uniform. “
Prime Minister Modi further told IPS evidence: “His is a profession in which the factor of encountering something unexpected is very high and everyone must be alert and prepared for it. There is a higher degree of stress and that is why it is important to keep talking with your loved and close ones. Every once in a while, maybe on a day off, I meet someone like a teacher or someone whose advice you value. “
During the interaction, the prime minister highlighted the importance of Yoga for those who work in stressful conditions. “Yoga and pranayam are good for all those who work under stress. If you do some work from the heart, you will always benefit. You will never feel stressed, no matter how much work there is. “
“In Delhi, I regularly interact with young IPS officers who have passed out from here. But this year because of Corona, I can’t meet all of them. But I am sure that during my tenure, I will surely meet all of you at some point, ”he said.
Up to 131 IPS parolees, including 28 women, have completed their 42 weeks of Phase I basic course training at the academy. They joined the academy on December 17, 2018 after completing their foundation course at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, and at the Dr. Marri Channa Reddy HRD Institute in Telangana, Hyderabad, with those from other central services like IAS and IFS.
During the basic course, parolees are trained in various interior and exterior subjects such as law, investigation, forensic medicine, leadership and management, criminology, public order and internal security, ethics and human rights, modern Indian police, field crafts and tactics, weapons training. and shoot, the statement said.
Mission Karmayogi is a new capacity building plan for civil servants aimed at improving the post-recruitment training mechanism for civil servants and employees at all levels.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said this exercise will “radically” improve the government’s human resource management practices and said it will use state-of-the-art infrastructure to increase the capacity of civil servants.
