Just hours after prominent actress Ragini Dwivedi failed to appear before CCB officials for questioning on Thursday, police issued a second notice ordering the Sandalwood actress to appear before CCB officers for questioning on Friday.
Earlier in the day, Ragini had dispatched a team of advocates to the CCB office to appear on her behalf and Ragini later tweeted that she would appear for questioning on Monday. By refusing to comply with the request, CCB officials, in their second notice, have asked Ragini to come forward for questioning on Friday morning.
After the second warning, Ragini now has no choice but to appear before the police on Friday. A senior CCB official revealed to DH that Ragini received a notification based on the disclosure from his friend Ravi Shankar. Police Commissioner Kamal Pant also visited the CCB office to obtain more details on the progress of the investigation.
The commissioner can further guide CCB officials on further actions based on the information and evidence collected by them so far.
