The lawyer for Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father said Thursday that the late actor’s family doubts the incident was not a suicide but a murder, according to the ANI news agency.
“The family definitely has serious doubts that this is not suicide, but murder,” said lawyer Vikas Singh, who represents Rajput’s father, KK Singh, according to ANI.
Vikas Singh’s comment came a day after she told reporters that the Mumbai police had made Rajput’s father sign a statement that was written in Marathi and that the family protested against her contrary to what she said. the Mumbai Police Commissioner.
This comes in the context of reports that KK Singh told Mumbai police in a statement that he believes his son may have “killed himself by dejection”.
The lawyer, however, refuted the claims, saying: “At that time, we only protested that it should not be in Marathi. We didn’t know what was written in Marathi as none of the family members are from Maharashtra. ”
