Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli is in top form as the training session in the United Arab Emirates progresses ahead of IPL 2020. RCB was left speechless as the skipper took a dive capture with one hand during training. The franchise shared a video shared on its official Twitter account. “We’re running out of things to say right now, Skip!” read the caption. Kohli looked extremely focused as he initially started to take his position to complete the capture, before lunging to his right. The Team India skipper managed to maintain control of the ball by completing a one-handed catch, before returning the ball.

Delhi Capitals (DC) goalie-hitter Rishabh Pant had completed a similar capture during a training session recently, which was visible in slow motion video of the moment shared by the franchise’s official Twitter user. “Even in slow motion, @ RishabhPant17 ends up taking this shot faster than the time it takes to finish reading this,” the video caption reads.

Both franchises have been training for the next edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), having completed the mandatory quarantine according to the UAE government and IPL guidelines. All teams have started their training in the United Arab Emirates except the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

The 13th edition of the IPL will be played in the United Arab Emirates at three venues: Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, from September 19 to November 10. The Mumbai Indians (MI) will face CSK in the first match of the tournament. However, the full schedule has yet to be released.
