Rhea Chakraborty’s father, Indrajit Chakraborty, was summoned by the CBI for the third time today. After relentless questioning for approximately five hours, Senior Chakraborty was seen leaving the CBI camp office at the DRDO guest house. According to a Times Now report, Indrajit was interrogated for five long hours and the basic line of questioning was the events leading up to the fateful June 14th. He was also questioned about his financial transaction.

The report also added that the main line of questioning was on the angle of drug use that has emerged in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. His son Showik Chakraborty was reportedly in contact with one of the drug traffickers. The CBI wanted to know if Indrajit knew about his son’s drug use. He was also reportedly asked if he had prescribed any medication for Sushant following allegations from the actor’s family that Rhea was giving Sushant any medication.

In the chats accessed by Times Now, Showik is seen ordering drugs from one of the drug dealers. In one of his talks, he also mentioned that he wanted something for his dad. However, it is still unclear if he was talking about his father or if he was a keyword for something or someone else.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment under mysterious circumstances on June 14.
