New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP and Supreme Court attorney Subramanian Swamy claimed on Wednesday that one of the reasons for Sushant Singh Rajput’s death was that the late actor was “too talented for the Bollywood cartel to ignore.” .
Swamy said that the ‘Bollywood cartel’ could not compete with the talented Sushant and so he removed it. The BJP leader claimed to have revealed another motive behind Sushant’s death, saying it was political in nature and needed further investigation.
“Motive 1 for Sushant’s murder is now clear. He was too independent and too talented for the Bollywood poster to ignore. They couldn’t compete so eliminate it. The break is a Bollywood movie-like alibi. Reason 2 I’ll put it later: it’s political but I need more research, ”Swamy tweeted.
Swamy had previously mentioned the presence of a “Bollywood cartel” and had accused the Mumbai police of being an accessory to Sushant’s death case. He had made the claim after the drugs angle came up in the case.
Sushant was found hanging in his apartment in the suburbs of Bandra on June 14. Mumbai police had initially claimed it was a suicide.
Later, the actor’s father, KK Singh, filed a police report in Patna, accusing Rhea Chakraborty, her family and others of inciting his son’s suicide and embezzling his money.
Last month, the Supreme Court ended the jurisdiction battle between the Maharashtra Police and the Bihar Police and paved the way for an IWC investigation into the sensational case.
With the drugs angle coming to light in Sushant’s death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) filed a case last month against Rajput partner Rhea Chakraborty, and others. The NCB brought the case after Enforcement Directorate, which was also investigating Sushant’s death case, obtained Rhea’s phone records and recovered deleted conversations between the actress and Goa-based hotelier Gaurav Arya. The talks revealed that he had asked Arya about methylenedioxy methamphetamine.
The NCB today arrested an alleged smuggling dealer who has “ties” to the drug trafficking case related to the sensational death case.
