Showik’s drug talks come to the fore

Republic TV already reported that the NCB on Wednesday arrested a suspected drug dealer named Zaid, who revealed the name of another person named Basit who was in contact with Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik. Previously, sources said that Zaid knew Showik and supplied him with drugs, but according to the latest contributions, Basit was an intermediary and was also detained.

Additionally, in a major reveal, Showik’s CDRs and chats have also come to the fore and NCB sources have confirmed that the agency has found strong evidence of how it was in contact with drug dealers. It was Showik who introduced Sushant’s home manager Samuel Miranda to street drug dealers, CDRs, and chat shows, according to sources adding that after making this breakthrough in the case, the NCB will soon summon Rhea and Showik for questioning.

NCB sources added that Showik had requested the purchase of 5 grams of drugs for Rs 10,000 through Samuel Miranda and data from the cell tower showed that Miranda was 125m from the drug dealer as a result of this. The OCN also presented the Mumbai police with a list of 18 people allegedly involved in the drug nexus. Of these, four are said to be “big names,” including an actor, a filmmaker, and two politicians.
