Ivan Rakitic says goodbye to Barcelona with love

Ivan Rakitic spoke about his time at Barcelona this week. The midfielder said goodbye to Barcelona to replace the signing for Sevilla.

Raktic’s time in Barcelona consolidated him as one of the best in the history of Barcelona. In just six years at the club, Rakitic won 16 trophies and embodied consistency in every match he played. The Croatian said he was “proud, grateful and happy” for his time at Barcelona.

“It is an honor to be the foreign player with the most games played in the history of Barça. They also told me about a statistic: I am the one with the highest average number of games played per season (51). It is a figure that is not easy to reach.

“I want to be remembered as a normal and humble Rakitic. Nothing better than going to the Sports City after having a coffee with milk at home in the morning. You can always do things much better but the most important thing is to do the best I can, my absolute maximum.

“If anyone sees me make a mistake, I’m sorry. I don’t want to regret anything because everything I have done has been with the best of intentions and without wanting to disrespect anyone ”.
