At a press conference on Wednesday, Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer Vikas Singh said the late actor was feeling a little “better” when his sister Meetu Singh left the house. Meetu moved in with Sushant on June 8 and went to babysit their little daughter on June 12.
When asked by a reporter why Meetu was not taking Sushant home to Goregaon if he was not in the right frame of mind, the lawyer said, “Sushant ko ghar laane ki koi baat hi nahi thi kyunki Sushant ko chaar din mein thoda better lagne laga tha, toh woh wapas chali gayi. Uski chhoti beti thi jisko woh dost ke paas rakh ke aayi thi, usko beti ke paas jaana tha (He never considered bringing Sushant home because he started to feel a little better after four days, so she came back (back with her little daughter, whom she had left with a friend) ”.

Sushant was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai on June 14. His family filed an incitement to the suicide case against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, who has denied the allegations.
Rhea lived with Sushant throughout the lockdown and went to her parents’ home on June 8. She has stated that she did not want to leave and that she only did so at his insistence. As the family points their fingers at her, she has raised questions about what happened in the days after her departure, when Meetu was present at the house.
The case is currently being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation. The Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Office are conducting parallel investigations into the angles of money laundering and drugs, respectively.
