Lead attorney Mukul Rohatgi, who appears on Netflix, told the court that various petitions related to the web series are pending in various higher courts and that the higher court should transfer these matters to itself.

The court issued a notice on the separate petitions filed by Netflix seeking the transfer of pending issues to different higher courts.
Lead attorney Vikas Singh, appearing for Sahara India, objected to Netflix’s statement, saying that the order was approved by a civil judge and that the appeal would be filed with the district judge and not with the higher court or tribunal. higher.
Netflix touts the web series, scheduled for release in India on September 2, as: “This investigative documentary series explores the greed, fraud and corruption that amassed, and ultimately brought down, India’s most infamous tycoons.” .
