Devoleena Bhattacharjee in the promotion ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2’
‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ returns for season 2 and Devoleena Bhattacharjee as Gopi Bahu makes an appearance in the first promo.

The creators of Saath Nibhana Saathiya launched the promotion for the second season on Monday. The promotion was launched days after music producer Yashraj Mukhate’s rap about Rupal Patel, also known as Kokilaben’s famous dialogue, “Rasode Mein Kon Tha?” it went viral on the internet.
The promotion opens to Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who plays the character of Gopi Bahu on the show. Dressed in a pink sari, Devoleena greets everyone with ‘Jai Shree Krishna’. In the picture below, we can hear the hiss of the pressure cooker as Devoleena says, “It seems that Gehna has put the gas cooker on the ‘rasoda’ (kitchen).
Later in the video, Devoleena has shared Gehna’s qualities and left viewers guessing ‘who is Gehna?’
The actress also shared the promotion on her Instagram and wrote: “We are back by popular demand # SaathNibhanaSaathiya2 #WhoisGehna #devoleena #gopibahu @starplus @rstfofficial (sic)”.
A source told Indian Express that the new season will be completely different from the previous one.
“The story will be completely different from Saath Nibhana Saathiya, but the core of a love story, in the middle of a family drama, will remain. The creators have aggressively approached people for the roles. Devoleena and Rupal will also be seen in the first episodes. We are still working on the script and they may keep coming back later in the show. The program will air mainly in October, ”said the source (via).
Meanwhile, Rupal Patel has stated that he has not yet been contacted for the second season, The Times of India reported. He further added that he likes to play one character at a time and is happily playing the character of Meenakshi Rajvansh in ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’. The second edition is likely to be available in October and will air on Star Plus.
