Actor Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer, Satish Maneshinde, has made new revelations after text messages between Sushant Singh Rajput and her sister Priyanka Singh surfaced online. The conversations revealed that Priyanka not only knew about Sushant’s mental health condition, but was also recommending that she take medication without consulting a doctor.
Satish told India Today that Priyanka recommended three anti-anxiety medications to Sushant on June 8. Rhea disagreed with this and left home later. “Rhea Chakraborty in her statements to the CBI and ED said that on June 8, Priyanka had spoken with Sushant. She asked Sushant to take three different medications without a prescription. Rhea protested when she said that he was already taking medications prescribed by Sushant’s doctors. Rhea had an argument with Sushant about the same and then Sushant asked her to leave. So Rhea called her brother, Showik Chakraborty, to take her home. “

The lawyer added that the illegal prescription should also be investigated. “It is very improper. They must be prosecuted for making false hospital prescriptions. The prescription says it was made at OPD, which is false. Sushant did not leave his house. It should be investigated how Sushant obtained the prescription from Ram Manohar Lohiya Hospital while sitting in Mumbai. It was a forged document, ”he said.
The text conversation between Priyanka and Sushant showed her recommending three antidepressant and anxiolytic medications. When Sushant said she couldn’t buy it without a prescription, Priyanka asked a doctor in Delhi for one and sent it to her.
Sushant was found dead in his Bandra apartment on June 14. Rhea faces a CBI investigation into a suicide instigation case brought by Rajput’s father. The case is also being investigated by the Directorate of Enforcement and the Office of Narcotics Control.
