Actress Kangana Ranaut feels like she has been ‘shadow banned’ by Twitter, after noting that she has been losing around 40,000-50,000 followers every day. She said it was “unfair” but added that “nationalists have to fight everywhere.”
It started when one of Kangana’s followers claimed that his number of followers is decreasing on Twitter and dropped from 992k to 988k in the span of an hour. She replied: “I agree, I notice a pattern every day that between 40 and 50 thousand followers drop, I am very new to this place, but how does it work? Why are they doing this? @TwitterIndia @jack @TwitterSupport “.
Another follower suggested that the shadow has been banned for promoting “nationalist sentiments.” Hidden ban is a form of Twitter censorship in which the microblogging site hides or blocks its content from its followers and other Twitter users. This happens if one violates Twitter’s policies.
Kangana seemed to agree with this explanation and said: “Hmm, I see that the nationalists have to fight everywhere, the noise is so loud, I noticed it because last night we were very close to a million, anyway, sincere apologies to everyone who is getting automatically stops following, so unfair but aren’t we used to this now?

For some time now, Kangana has been speaking out against the ‘movie mafia’ and the practice of nepotism in the film industry. Recently, he spoke about the alleged Bollywood drug nexus and stated that 99% of people in the industry are drug users.
On Sunday, Kangana compared herself to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and said she was also targeted and isolated by Bollywood heavyweights. “They also called me bipolar, a sexual predator, they embarrassed me, isolated me and banned me, eventually all the media banned my films too, and the mafia openly declared my tragic end, and all this happened in public gaze, no one said anything #IAmSushant ”He wrote on Twitter.

Kangana has been seeking justice for Sushant. She has alleged that the ‘movie mafia’ tried to destroy his career and used his connections in the media to blindly plant fake articles about him.
