Kangana Ranaut has been a major talking point on Twitter in recent weeks. After initially broadcasting her forceful statements against stars and the film industry in general through her team, the actress had officially joined the microblogging platform a few days ago. However, apart from some heated exchanges with the stars, there was another unpleasant experience for the Queen star, as his following reportedly dropped from 40,000 to 50,000.

Kangana Ranaut alleges that Twitter followers were reduced
Kangana Ranaut responded to a netizen’s statement that her followers had dropped from 992K to 988K followers in one hour. The actor wrote that even she had noticed a falling pattern of ’40 to 50 thousand followers’. Tagging Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey asked why they were ‘doing this’ as she was new to the platform.

As another netizen told him that they were ‘phantom bans’ to speak against ‘anti-nationals’, make nationalist sentiments and ‘expose the left’, and when the account becomes popular, Twitter ‘reduces the visibility’ of the tweets.
Kangana replied that “the nationalists had to fight everywhere” because of the “loud noise”. He added that he noticed it because he was close to hitting the million mark. He also offered his ‘sincere apologies’ to those who were ‘automatically unfollowed’, adding that while it was ‘unfair’, people were getting used to it now.

Kangana had officially joined Twitter after seeing the impact his statements had had on the Sushant Singh Rajput movement. She then claimed that Bollywood stars were accusing her of having an “agenda”, and agreed that she had one, and that was nationalism. She is often seen making blunt statements on numerous topics like the lynching of sadhus in Palghar and more.
This is apart from the attack on Bollywood stars by nepotism and camping. More recently, the fashion star highlighted the alleged link between Bollywood and the drug cartel amid reports that Rhea Chakraborty allegedly drugged Sushant, on Republic TV, Kangana stated that ’99 percent of Bollywood used drugs’ and alleged that the police and the politicians were also involved in the nexus.
