Chandigarh, August 30
The Haryana government on Sunday revoked an earlier order that ordered all stores and malls, except those dealing with essential goods and services, to be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

In a tweet on Sunday, Haryana Interior Minister Anil Vij said that the order had been revoked as the Unlock 4.0 guidelines released by the Center on Saturday did not give states the right to impose a lockdown.
On Friday, an official spokesman for the Haryana government had said that all shops and malls could now remain open on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) but would close on Monday and Tuesday. The decision was aimed at containing the spread of Covid-19 in the state, he added.
