Rizwan was entertaining behind the wickets.
Mohammad Rizwan is one of the few cricketers from Pakistan, who was part of the Test series in England and also participates in the three-match T20I series against the same opposition. He is a chatty behind wickets and once his suggestion helped Shadab Khan greatly. It happened in the fifteenth of the British entries.
On the fourth ball from the end, he asked Shadab to plan for Moeen’s firing on his own, as Moeen Ali understands Urdu. Moeen got the strike after Sam billings drove a long-range downward thrown delivery for a solo. In the next installment, Shadab brought out Moeen much to the delight of Pakistan.
Shadab Khan fires Moeen
The leggie made a flatter delivery off the stump and Moeen gave it a tentative punch. The ball found its outer edge and Rizwan had its tribulations catching it. The goalkeeper was unable to catch the ball on the first attempt, but holed the second time.
Rizwan had told Shadab before taking the pointy clasp with the maintenance gloves. “Isay khudi out krna isay urdu smjh ati hai (think for yourself what to bowling, I won’t tell you. He knows Urdu).” Moeen could only handle eight seven-ball runs with the help of a limit.

Aside from Moeen, Shadab also fired Tom Banton, who racked up some misery for the Three Lions. Banton had turned the bowling alley into a rapid-fire 71, laced with four fours and five massive hits in the stands. Shadab pulled out England’s opener at 13, minimizing the severe damage Tom could have inflicted had he hit deep in the innings.
In his four overs, Shadab gave away 33 runs at an economic pace of 8.20. As far as the game is concerned, the game failed to take place after England scored 131 of six in 16.2 overs. Thereafter, the heavens were opened and the game did not resume. Aside from Banton, Dawid Malan and Eoin Morgan got into the double figures.
