The actor’s tweet about attending classes left everyone in an online frenzy.
Bollywood star Sunny Leone’s name has appeared on a merit list for an undergraduate course at a Kolkata university. It wasn’t just a viral photo from the list that got the internet laughing out loud, but Leone’s response as well. At a time when students are busy and anxious with college admissions, the photo is a much-needed relief.
The first English BA (honors) admissions list at Ashutosh College, posted on their website, had the actor’s name at the top. An application ID and roster number accompanied the name on the roster with a perfect 400 score in the best of four subjects on the Class XII board exams.
The list of merits on the university’s website showed the actor’s name at the top of the list for the English course with honors.
The actor had a wry response to the incident and joked on Twitter about enrolling in college. “See you in college next semester !!! I hope you are in my class;) ”, he wrote.

However, after university authorities were notified, the website was updated with a revised list. The name at the top changed to ‘ABC’, while other details remained the same.

The procedure for submitting forms for admissions was carried out online and the university authorities admitted that the entry was not marked. “It is an act of mischief when someone deliberately submitted an incorrect application by spelling Leone’s name. We have asked the admissions department to correct it. We will also carry out an investigation into the incident, ”a university official told the news agency. PTI. A complaint has been filed with the city’s cyber police team.

In fact, Asutosh College is not alone. According to local reports, another academic institution saw the actor’s name appear on its list of merits, this time for a Bengali course at Budge Budge College. A photo from the merit list showing Leone’s name has also gone viral.
Last year, the actor had “topped” the preliminary list for the junior engineer position in the Bihar Department of Public Health Engineering.
