Alia Bhatt’s Sadak 2 is the worst rated movie on IMDb, with a score of 1.1 – bollywood

Sadak 2 is still a victim of the vote squad. The recently released movie has a 1.1 rating on the IMDb website, weeks after a concentrated effort was made to reject its trailer. With over 10,000 votes, the movie is currently the lowest rated title on IMDb. Its closest rival is a 2015 Turkish movie called Code Name: KOZ, which has a rating of 1.3. Sadak 2 has come under fire from critics. The Hindustan Times review called it “one of the worst movies of 2020.”

However, there are only 15 registered user reviews of the film on IMDb. “Absolute garbage,” was the headline of one review. “Is this movie a joke or what?” another user demanded to know. “Intolerable” and “unspeakable” were other adjectives used to describe the film, directed by Mahesh Bhatt and starring her daughter Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapoor.

Hindustantimes

Previously, fans of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who died by suicide in June, launched a campaign to make the trailer for the film the most disgusting video on YouTube in the days leading up to its presentation. Sushant’s fans have turned against certain members of the film industry, most notably by “inmates”, based on the theory that Sushant was ostracized for being a “stranger.”

Sushant’s girlfriend, actress Rhea Chakraborty, in a recent interview confirmed that he was upset at not being recognized. “Not to have been nominated for film awards, even after successful and different films like Sonchiriya and Chhichhore, one artistically amazing film and the other, a super successful and amazing film … Even if the film or the technicians were nominated, the name de Sushant never appeared in the nominations. I was very upset about it. Even I was upset that such a good actor is not nominated for such a good movie. Sushant felt that someone was behind this accusation of Me Too because it was completely absurd, ”she told India Today in an interview. “He often felt that even if he made one more movie, he wouldn’t get that award or that such terrible articles would be written about him. So many false and terrible articles would be written blindly about him. It would cost him a lot of mental damage. It used to feel really bad. He felt like he was being a target, ”he added.

Mahesh Bhatt, a few days before the trailer release, had shared a message for fans through his eldest daughter, Pooja Bhatt. “Today when we begin the last leg of our journey, I feel unchained! I am not carrying any load or weight. No reputation to cling to. No mission to fulfill. Nothing to prove to anyone. If the movie works, it belongs to all of you. If not, it’s mine, ”he said.
