An independent financial analysis of Sushant Singh Rajput’s single bank account receipts shows that the actor spent more than 4.5 million rupees spread over 10 months last year.
This money was largely spent on travel, personal luxuries, domestic help, charity and spiritual pursuits, according to Namrata Kanodia, a leading Delhi-based financial forensics expert, who examined one of his bank statements.

A component of the total spending also went to his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother, the entries show.
Today there is only one overdue account of #Sushant which is in the public domain. Later during questioning, when other bank accounts turn up, the family’s charge of diverting money will be proven: Vishnu Jain, South Carolina lawyer#Newstrack LIVE: https://t.co/4fqxBVUizL pic.twitter.com/Y5lUugnPEK

“When we analyzed this statement from one of the Rajput banks in Mumbai, we found that these expenses were made under various headings, including Rhea Chakraborty and her brother,” Kanodia explained. “We found that out of a total spending of Rs. 4.6 crore from January to November last year, he apparently spent around Rs 42 lakh on travel, Rs 33 lakh on a farm in Pawana (Maharashtra) and Rs 1.1 crore on personal luxuries.”
HOW MUCH DID YOU SPEND ON RHEA?
Rajput, according to available statement, spent Rs 9.5 lakh on Chakraborty and his brother, Kanodia said. “The breakdown of this headline showed Rs. 1.7 lakh on his plane tickets, Rs. 4.72 lakh on his brother’s hotel stay and Rs. 3.4 lakh on shopping, makeup and other miscellaneous expenses.”
In his interview for India Today, Chakraborty has denied allegations that he was living on Rajput money. “He loved living like a star. I didn’t live on Sushant Singh Rajput’s money. We lived as a couple,” he said.
The actress, however, acknowledged that she did travel abroad with her boyfriend, who paid all the expenses.
In his interview with India Today last month, the late actor’s chartered accountant, Sandeep Shridhar, insisted that no transactions worth a lakh were made to Chakraborty or his relatives from Rajput bank accounts. “No major transfers except a few thousand to Rhea’s account. Once Rhea’s mother transferred her 33,000. She was a movie star, so she had to maintain her lifestyle and expenses. They both traveled together and he lived according to his wish, “he said. reclaimed.

Shridhar has been questioned by the Directorate of Enforcement and his statement registered under the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering.
Remember, in his complaint, Rajput’s father accused the actress and her family members of diverting Rs 15 crore from her son’s bank accounts, a charge that she vehemently denies.
METHODOLOGY
The independent financial analysis, commissioned by India Today, covered transactions between January and November 2019, excluding the month of September, in one of four Rajput bank accounts.
Official sources say that one of those accounts was being used only to pay monthly installments for a flat he had bought in Malad in 2013. The apartment is currently occupied by actress Ankita Lokhande, the former Rajput girlfriend.
INDULGENCE, CHARITY, NUTS, SPIRITUALITY
The transactions analyzed by the financial audit commissioned by India Today shed light on the nature of Rajput spending.
- It shows that you spent Rs 920,896 between February and November 2019 on alcohol and smoke alone.
- Donations worth Rs 16.36 lakh were made between February and April 2019 from the same bank account.
- The expenses related to puja and spiritual products such as rudraksha amounted to 299,488 rupees.
- Nut purchases incurred Rs 523,900 between January 2019 and May 2019
“I found these payments under the heading of nuts a bit strange. Almost all transactions are rounded,” said Kanodia. “Take, for example, payments made in January only. You will notice that purchases are made for Rs 32,000 on January 20, then Rs 32,000 the next day, Rs 32,000 again on January 25, and Rs 32,000 on January 29. Great match unless the gift packs were bought one after the other. But then you see the same pattern of buying nuts in round figures in the months that follow. “
The actor spent Rs 20.25 lakh at the Waterstones Sports and Recreation Club in Mumbai between May and November 2019.
Forensic analysis of the account also shows cash withdrawals amounting to nearly 25 lakh rupees, Kanodia said.
The actor appears to have spent money on his friends and manager, including Shruti Modi, who has been named one of the defendants in the case that is being investigated by multiple agencies including the CBI, the ED, and the Office of Narcotics Control.
He also allegedly made a payment of Rs 1.5 million to Bimal Parekh & Co, a CA company.
The same bank statement is part of the material evidence that the CBI is investigating.
