Delhi issues guidelines for all incoming passengers, persons with mild symptoms ordered isolate at home or COVID-19 installation

New Delhi: The Delhi government on Monday issued guidelines for domestic travel, including flights, trains and interstate bus, at the root of the outbreak of coronavirus.

According to the guidelines, asymptomatic, passengers will be permitted to go with the advice that they self monitor their health for 14 days. In the event that symptoms develop, it must be reported to the stakeholders, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), or the state of the help line number.

“All passengers should be advised to download the Aarogya respective eras application on their mobile devices. Those who have moderate or severe symptoms will be admitted to dedicated COVID health facilities. Those who have mild symptoms, you will be given the option of home confinement or isolated in the COVID Center of Attention, both in public and private facilities,” the guidelines said.

Some trains to transport stranded migrants and others already have begun to run, while domestic air services resumed from the Monday after two months. The Railways will operate 200 trains of passengers from 1 June.

Meanwhile, the DDMA directed all District Magistrates to appoint a Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) level officer as nodal officer with a sufficient number of team members to facilitate the home of isolated people, with a dedicated mobile number in each district.
