Under this scheme 18.34 the farmers will be provided Rs 1500 million rupees as first installment for the production of rice. Under this scheme, 9.53 lakh marginalized farmers, 5.60 lakh small farmers and 3.20 lakh big farmers will benefit.
In the same way, for the cultivation of the sugar cane, the payment of FRP amount of Rs 261 per quintal and of incentives and scholarships exchange value of Rs 93.75 per quintal, which is the maximum Rs 355 per quintal, will be carried out, based on the amount of sugar cane, brought by the co-operative mill in the crushing year 2019-20.
In virtue of this, 34,637 farmers of the state will receive Rs 73.55 crore in four installments. The first installment of this amount, Rs 18.43 crore will be transferred on the 21st of May.
The government of Chhattisgarh is also going to offer an incentive of money (the pending bonus) at the rate of Rs 50 per quintal on the basis of the amount of sugar cane is purchased through the cooperative sugar factories in the year 2018-19.
