In the midst of the continuing fight against COVID-19, Amphan cyclone wreaked havoc in the states of Bengal and Orissa on Wednesday.

Called “cyclonic storm very severe” by the weather department, the Amphan cyclone touched land in both states with large amounts of rain, wind gusts and thunderstorms — destroying everything in its path, leaving behind a chilling visual of everything.

The “super cyclone” has reportedly killed 12 people in Bengal, while the supply of energy and telephony networks also took a hit in the united states.

There was, however, a respite for the residents of Bhubaneswar, which were received with a purple-pink of the heavens through and used Twitter to share photos of the city of Odisha.

“My city is an example that we bloom with grace, no matter how stormy the times”, wrote one of the residents of Bhubaneswar in the website of microblogging.
