The resumption of Domestic and International Flights in India: The central government is expected to take a call at some point during the next week when to resume flight operations. In this measure, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has already reached out to the various stakeholders, including airlines, airports and ground handling companies to begin laying the groundwork for the reset of the flights.

When will the flights start?
The government is learnt to have airlines, said that carriers and customers will be given 10 days to make commercial and technical preparations before the green signal to restart the flights is given. In consequence, high-ranking officials in the government and the airlines expect flights commercial scheduled to resume at any time during the next month.
To what destinations, flights operate?
Initially, the repatriation mission conducted by Air India is expected to be extended in the domestic routes. Currently, only the international passengers that are flying on these flights. Once, a sufficient number of repatriation flights are operated on domestic routes, other private airlines be allowed to fly between airports that are located in the green areas. However, airlines have expressed concern that these airports may not provide the passenger loads for flights to be commercially viable. Most of the major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, etc are still classified as red zones.
When you are scheduled international flights begin?
The plan pointed out by the government for now is focused on the resumption of the internal operations and the authorities have said that a call will be taken on international flights after the evaluation of the Covid-19 the situation in a given country. Obviously, a great job on this front also depends on the country of destination of the evaluation of the India to be safe and associated permits that must be issued to the Indian carriers fly to those airports.

Flying be different once the situation is normalized?
A detailed set of standard operating procedures is being worked on by the government, in consultation with the aviation industry and going by the initial feedback, a series of new rules and regulations are expected to be put in place that is going to change the experience of flight. These include mandatory social distancing in the airports, revisions in the way in which security procedures are carried out to ensure a minimum of contact, the use of masks and personal protective equipment for passengers and employees, among others. A new range of health checks can also be instituted that might result in more waiting time at the airports and the increase of the waiting times.
