The PM-CARES Trust Fund (Assistance and Citizen Relief of the Prime Minister in Emergency Situations) allocated Rs 3.1 billion rupees on Wednesday for the fight against COVID-19 of which Rs 2 billion rupees will be used for the purchase of fans, Rs 1 billion rupees to help migrant workers and Rs 100 crore for the development of the coronavirus vaccine.
