* Booking tickets against cancellation (RAC) will not be allowed.

* The request from the railways to the various zones indicates that it is planning to run mixed services instead of the currently air-conditioned trains. This means that you can start services to smaller Tier II cities along with major cities currently served by Rajdhani trains.

* Passengers who are not allowed to travel on trains due to symptoms associated with the coronavirus will receive a full refund for their tickets, Railways said.

* In accordance with the guidelines issued by the Ministry of the Interior, all passengers will be compulsory examined and only asymptomatic passengers will be able to board the train.

* If a passenger has a very high Covid-19 temperature / symptoms during the exam, they will not be allowed to travel despite confirming tickets. In such a situation, a full refund will be provided to the passenger in question.

* On a group ticket, if a passenger is not fit to travel and all other passengers in the same PNR do not wish to travel either, then a full refund will be granted for all passengers.

* The full fare for the passenger / group that has not traveled will be reimbursed by IRCTC in the client’s account.

Indian Railways resumed passenger services after a nearly two-month gap on Tuesday with eight air-conditioned trains carrying more than 13,000 passengers. According to railway officials, the overall occupancy of the trains was over 100%.

Railroads so far reported 2,08,965 passenger bookings for the 30 trains through Wednesday. Authorities accept reservations up to seven days in advance for the 15 pairs of special trains that the government has announced to date.
