Riddhima, who lives in Delhi, drove to Mumbai after hearing the news, but was unable to attend his funeral at the Chandanwadi crematorium due to the coronavirus-induced confinement. In a heartbreaking Instagram post, she wished she could “be there to say goodbye” one last time.
“Dad, I love you, I will always love you. RIP, my strongest warrior. I will miss you every day. I will miss your FaceTime calls every day. I wish I could be there to say goodbye! Until we see Dad again, I love you, your Mushk forever, ”she wrote, sharing a photo with him.
Riddhima has been remembering Rishi with his old family photos. She said in her Instagram stories that she and Ranbir are standing next to their mother Neetu Kapoor like a rock, during this difficult time. “I supported you, Ma, your pillars,” he wrote, sharing a photo of the three of them.
