List of special trains of the IRCTC Indian Railways: Almost two months after it suspended its passenger operations in light of the coronavirus-induced blockade, Indian Railways will gradually resume passenger train services beginning Tuesday.
A total of 15 trains to different destinations will depart New Delhi on Tuesday for which reservations have started. Special trains will run from New Delhi to Dibrugarh, Agartala, Howrah, Patna, Bilaspur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Secunderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Madgaon, Central Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Jammu Tawi.
Indian railways said Monday travelers would have to arrive stations 90 minutes in advance to board special Rajdhani trains. The railroads also said that passengers would have to bring their own food and blankets and sheets from the house.
Here is a list of the special trains that will run from tomorrow:
The reservation to book on these trains will start at 4 p.m. Today and will be available only on the IRCTC website. The fares for these trains will be those of the Rajdhani trains, which means that they will all be air-conditioned carriages.
