Trying to end rumors about his health on social media, Interior Minister Amit Shah said Saturday that he is healthy and does not suffer from any disease.
“I want to clarify today that I am perfectly healthy and that I do not have any disease,” Shah said in a note he posted on Twitter. Sources said the BJP was interested in rejecting the rumors as “they were false and ill-intentioned.”

The Interior Minister said in recent days that there have been rumors about his health on social networks. “Some even tweeted praying for my death,” Shah said.
The former BJP president said he paid no heed to the rumors as he was engaged in the government’s fight against the coronavirus pandemic. “The country is currently battling a global epidemic, the coronavirus, and while I am busy as minister of the interior of the country, I did not pay attention to all of this. When I realized this late at night, I thought that all these people should enjoy their imaginary thoughts. So I didn’t give any clarification. “
“But millions of my party workers and supporters have expressed great concern over the past two days. I cannot ignore your concern. So I want to clarify today that I am perfectly healthy and that I do not have any disease, “he said.
Shah even said that according to Hindu belief, rumors about one’s health could further strengthen the person. “Therefore, I would ask each person to give up these meaningless conversations and let me do my job and they can continue to do theirs,” Shah wrote.
