Only final exams for final year college and university students will take place from July 1

The exams will begin on July 1 and end on July 31 according to the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC), informed the Minister of Higher and Technical Education Uday Samant.

The government will re-evaluate the situation on June 20.

All other students will be promoted

In addition to the senior year, students who will be required to sit for their exams, all other college students will be promoted to next year. A 50-50% graduation formula will be used to promote students. 50% will be based on the performance of previous years and 50% will be based on the performance of the current year. ATKT students will also be promoted to next year, but they will have to clean up the documents within 120 days after the period begins.

On Thursday, Aditya Thackeray had tweeted that a road map for all students concerned about their exams will be declared in Maharashtra in “two days maximum”.

He also wrote: “The road map will be fair and just for all students studying at Maharashtra universities. I would suggest leaving your concerns about this and staying safe and indoors. We are here for all of you,” adding: “And for those who speculate when the exams, how the exams, worrying won’t help us! Calm down and trust the minister. As I said, it will be a plan that is fair for everyone. ”

A few days ago, it was announced that the Joint Entrance-Principal Exams (JEE-MAINS) for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering institutes will be held on July 18, 20, 21, 22 and 23, while , National Eligibility cum Entry Test (NEET) for undergraduate courses in medicine and dentistry will take place on July 26.
