NEW DELHI: Indian states reported more than 3,000 new COVID-19 Cases for the second day in a row, as the country’s crown count topped 55,000 on Thursday, it only took four days to reach that number after crossing 40,000 on May 3.
While Maharashtra On Thursday more than 1,200 new cases were registered, again for the second consecutive day, the infection hit a new high in Delhi, where 448 more cases emerged. The capital’s previous peak in a single day was 428 on Tuesday.

Rajasthan recorded 110 new cases, including 21 from Jaipur, bringing the state’s Covid-19 count to 3,427 and the number of deaths to 99. In Kerala, there are no new Covid-19 cases were reported for the second consecutive day.
