Coronavirus Tracker (COVID-19): The number of confirmed cases of the coronavirus pandemic in India approached 13,000, while the death toll rose to 420 on Thursday, according to the latest update from the Union Ministry of Health. Of the total cases, 1,514 people have been treated and discharged so far. Maharashtra has been the most affected, with more than 3,000 cases and 194 deaths, followed by Delhi with 1,578 infections and 32 deaths. Tamil Nadu, with the third highest number of infections, reported 62 recoveries in one day. Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh witnessed the highest increase among any other state, with a total number of cases of 1,120. Kerala, which has flattened the curve, reported 27 more recoveries.

A total of 11 people have tested positive for the new coronavirus, all of whom have been treated and released.

Assam: 34 cases, 1 death
Assam has reported 34 cases of coronavirus, including 1 death to date.
Bihar: 72 cases, 1 death
Four more people tested positive for COVID-19 in Bihar as the total number of cases in the state increases to 74, including one death and the 37 who have recovered.
In Chandigarh, 21 people have contracted coronaviruses so far, of whom seven have recovered. Embarking on an ambitious project, the CSIR-Institute for Microbial Technology (IMTECH) said Thursday that it has started sequencing of the entire genome of the new SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus.
These are figures from the Union Ministry of Health. There has been a delay in the Ministry’s figures, compared to the number of deaths announced by different states, which officials attribute to procedural delays in assigning cases to individual states.
Chhattisgarh: 33 cases
A total of 33 cases of coronavirus have been reported by Chhattisgarh. 23 of those affected have already recovered.
Delhi: 1,640 cases, 38 deaths
The total number of new coronavirus cases in the national capital on Thursday rose to 1,640, with 62 new cases and six deaths reported in one day, according to Delhi government officials. Of the total cases, 1,080 are those who have been brought to the facility through special operations, the same as on Wednesday. With six more deaths reported, the death toll from COVID-19 in Delhi has risen to 38.
Goa: 7 cases

To date, 35 confirmed cases of COVID-19 including two deaths and 16 recoveries have been reported from Himachal Pradesh.
Jammu and Kashmir: 314 cases, 4 deaths
The Jammu and Kashmir trade union territory has a total of 314 cases so far, of which 272 are active cases, four have died and 38 people have been treated and recovered.
Jharkhand: 28 cases, 2 deaths
Jharkhand has reported 28 cases of coronavirus, including two deaths so far.
Karnataka: 315 cases, 13 deaths

He has tested positive and is undergoing treatment.

Odisha: 60 cases, 1 death
Odisha has a relatively low positive coronavirus case load in 60 cases and has so far reported one death. Rajasthan: 1,104 cases, 11 deaths
The total number of coronavirus cases in Rajasthan has crossed the 1000 mark. Rajasthan on Thursday reported 28 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the state’s virus count to 1,104, authorities said. Of the new cases, 11 are from Tonk and Jodhpur, 2 from Jhunjhunu and Kota, and one from Bikaner and Ajmer.
Tamil Nadu: 1,267 cases, 15 deaths
Tamil Nadu has 1,267 cases of coronavirus, including 15 deaths. On Thursday, the state reported a new death from COVID-19, while 25 more people tested positive for the disease, bringing the total to 15 and the total number of cases to 1,267, Prime Minister K Palaniswami said.
