The mythological television show that originally launched in the 1980s is now back on the charts with BARC India releasing new data on audience patterns in the country.
According to a new rating, “Ramayana” has been successful in scrolling the most viewed show previously in the world, that is, the end of “Game of Thrones”. Ramayana recorded 77 million visits in one day (April 16), breaking the record for the most watched show in the world. It was previously the most viewed show in India.
Previously, this was done by the end of “Game of Thrones” which recorded 19.3 million views in one day.

“Ramayana” stars Arun Govil and Deepika Chikhalia in the lead, while “Game of Thrones” has multiple big names like Emilia Clarke, Lena Headey, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner, Kit Harington, Sean Bean and others.
As for Ramayana, this feat is not one that I have not seen before. Written and directed by Ramanand Sagar, the show aired for the first time from January 25, 1987 to July 31, 1988. Within a year, Ramayan had become the most viewed mythological series in the world.
